Volunteer Workshops

There are many ways in which you can volunteer your time to help Botany Bay and this program. We have developed our survey protocols so that they are volunteer orientated. Some of the volunteer programs require a little more training than others, but they are all just as rewarding.

Clean-Up Events

Beach and Underwater Clean-ups are an invaluable aspect of Botany Bay Watch. It is extremly rewarding, loads of fun, but most importanly a brilliant way to help direcly make a difference.

Last cleean-up event we had 49 volunteers, each collecting close to 100 pieces of rubbish. WOW! That is nearly 4900 pieces of garbage removed from our catchment in only one day. Great effort.

Next Clean-Day is on the 26th of April, 2009.
